The LGBT Center of Southern Nevada gets a new home in Downtown!!!

If all goes well in the next few months the The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada will begin construction on their new and expanded location in the heart of Downtown. Relocating from their current location at the Commercial Center, The Center will more than double in size and create a place that will add a new and dynamic synergy to the important programs and services that they provide for the LGBT community. With a cafe', large and convertible meeting space, library and garden, the Robert L. Forbuss Building located at 401 South Maryland Parkway, will be a much needed boost of positive energy to an area of Downtown that has seen better days.

I cannot say enough about how happy I am to see this important organization relocating to Downtown and only a few blocks from my place!

WELCOME HOME!!!

Okay so it needs a little work. But you can see the potential!
