Mayday Mayday its First Friday!!!

Gnome by Jesse Smigle
At Boulder Plaza behind
the Arts Factory
After a pretty amazing Preview Thursday I do have to say that we are in for an even more exciting First Friday. Shows at the Contemporary Arts Center, Trifecta Gallery, and La Chica Gallery have me pretty excited. Not to mention Danny Roberts over at Brett Wesley Gallery is always a crowd-pleaser. This months First Friday is themed The Art of Science to play off this weeks Las Vegas Science Festival festivities.

So with all this said here is a very brief list of evenrthing that is happening in Downtown. Actually there is much more happening so the best way to find out about it all is just come down and explore for yourself!

For more information check out the official First Friday website http://www.firstfridaylasvegas.com/

For a recap of what is happening at the Arts Factory here is the Reason Report -

The Arts Factory has been bringing art and music festivals to the
residents of Las Vegas since 1998. Open every day of the week, from the
time we roll out of bed, until the time everyone has gone home.

Some parties are just bigger than others.

There is just SO MUCH to do Downtown this Culture Weekend, we can't
possibly keep up with reporting all of it. But here are just a few of
