Well the ladies at Altered Nation Designs and Flock Flock Flock have done it again, celebrating another holiday with some amazing fashions that will tantalize the masses with their creativity. This time its Valentines and goodness knows that you can do a lot when LOVE is involved. This evening all the creative types will descend upon Emergency Arts to witness yet another amazing fashion show that will benefit the Children's Heart Foundation. Trust me this is not one to miss! So make sure to come Downtown and celebrate a lot of LOVE with a lot of couture. The event begins at 7pm...

Couture community fashion show and raffle to benefit Children’s Heart Foundation

Altered Nation Designs and Flockflockflock are hosting their third Couture Community Challenge fashion show and raffle to benefit the Children’s Heart Foundation of NV on Friday, February 12 at 7 p.m. The show will feature the talents of local designers and artists such as Susan Tosches-Deneau, Jennifer Henry, Stephanie Rapp, Cari Byers, Ermelinda Manos, Jasmine Brim, Robin Barcus-Slonina among others. Each participant has been challenged to use real Valentine’s cards, Valentine’s candies and Valentine’s decorations to create unique garments in celebration of the holiday.

There is a $5 suggested donation at the door and raffle tickets will be for sale for $1 each or 15 for $10, all to benefit the Children's Heart Foundation of NV. Guests who purchase raffle tickets have the chance to win art, gift certificates and other great prizes. The night will be a celebration of local fashion, art and community. The event will be held at Emergency Arts inside the Beat Coffee House at 520 Fremont St., Las Vegas. The fashion show begins at 7 p.m. and is 21 years or older with valid ID. A donation of $5 is suggested at the door. Beer, wine, and food will also be available for purchase. Before and after the show, guests are encouraged to enjoy the Emergency Arts boutiques and galleries.

Altered Nation Designs and Flockflockflock are both pioneer tenants in the new Emergency Arts project who strive to create special fashion shows for locals, by locals and benefiting locals. The duo plans to bring Las Vegas periodic shows each with a fun, off-the-wall theme and new challenge for the designers.
