If there is any local author that has captured the true essence of Las Vegas, its grittiness, its downtrodden, its very soul, it is without a doubt Matt O'Brien. It was three years ago that I had the pleasure of working with Matt on an exhibition based on his seminal book
Beneath the Neon , the story of real people living in the storm drains underneath Las Vegas. Today Matt celebrates his latest literary creation
My Week at the Blue Angel , a book of short stories based in the Neon Jungle we call home. On Saturday, February 5th at 1pm Matt will be having his last scheduled book signing. The event will take place at Barnes & Noble near Summerlin
