World Fighting Museum could come Downtown...

Could Downtown Las Vegas see yet another museum and attraction? Has the cultural momentum picked-up to such a point that we are witnessing a critical mass that will propel Las Vegas into a bright cultural arts future? If you talk to Paul-Felix Montez the answer is yes and the time in now. I have had the pleasure of knowing Paul for several years and every time he talks about the potential of a museum dedicated to the history of boxing his enthusiasm is contagious.

Well you do not need to tell me about the potential of Downtown Las Vegas and it's bright future so when I see projects like this pop-up I get very giddy at the prospects. In either case Las Vegas is the perfect venue for such a museum considering our states history with boxing, especially on the 100th anniversary of the Johnson-Jeffries fight that took place in Reno in 1910.

If this project ever gets off the ground it will add another great cultural venue to our growing Downtown...
