Firenze Sextet includes some long term friendships. All professional musicians, three are core members of Lion King and the Las Vegas Philharmonic and others all have played in either group.

Rebecca Ramsey, Violin is the current concertmaster for the Lion King at the Mandalay Bay. She has played concertmaster for many of the musical giants, including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr., Andrea Bocelli, Johnny Mathis and Pavarotti’s farewell performance at Caesar’s Palace. A composer herself, her music has been performed by The Nevada Chamber Symphony, the Southwest Symphony of Utah, and the Las Vegas Jazz Society. Her recording of The Stone Sanctuary, Silhouettes of Zion National Park is heard frequently on KCNV-FM 89.7 Nevada Public Radio. She is also a member of the Las Vegas Philharmonic and the Celine Dion Orchestra at Caesars Palace.

Geri Thompson, Violin was a showroom orchestra member backing headliner entertainment at Harrahs’ Reno, Desert Inn and Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas prior to leaving Nevada for 15 years. She was then a member of the Grand Rapid Symphony, Syracuse Symphony and various musical theatre productions thru-out the Midwest and Northeast. Since her return to Las Vegas, Geri has played in the orchestras of Phantom of the Opera, Spamalot and The Producers and is currently playing in the Lion King Pit Orchestra.

Hanna Suk, Viola received both a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Music at the National Music Academy of Ukraine. She was a member of Caprice Classic String Quartet, Cunard String Quartet, and the artist with the Kiev Chamber Orchestra. She has toured throughout Europe and Ukraine as a solo performer and chamber musician. Ms. Suk has collaborated in numerous premier performances of new music at music festivals in Ukraine, Poland, Croatia, Germany among others and had recently fulfilled contracts with the renown company Cunard, performing on the famous cruise liner Queen Mary 2.

Tiana Harjo, Viola is currently the instructor of viola and chamber music coach at the University of Las Vegas. In addition to her duties at the University, she also works as a Paraprofessional for the Clark County School District – traveling to various middle and high schools throughout the district and conducting instrumental sectionals and workshops. She holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in viola performance from the University of Nevada, Reno.

Moonlight Tran, Cello is currently a member of the Lion King Pit Orchestra, as well as the Las Vegas Philharmonic. She graduated from the University of Southern California's Thornton School of Music, with a degree in Cello Performance. Born in Vietnam, she grew up in Las Vegas. She also has a studio of aspiring cello students of all ages.

Lindsey Springer, Cello graduated from Cincinnati Conservatory with a Master's degree in Music. In addition to being a current member of Lion King Pit Orchestra, she played in the Phantom of the Opera and Producers Orchestras. She has recorded with Air Supply, Beyonce, the Academy of Country Music Awards and the Latin Grammys. Lindsey also is a member of of the Celine Dion Orchestra at Caesars Palace, in addition to being a full time teacher at K.O. Knudsen Junior High School.



Firenze Sextet is dedicated to performing and preserving the culture and the tradition of classical music in a town full of entertainment choices.
