3 Baaad Sheep rockin the Downtown arts scene...

Eddie, Alex & Sky
3 Very Baaad Sheep...
Not since the 5 Finger Miscount many years ago has an art troupe taken Downtown by storm as have the boys at Three Baaad Sheep. Yep these zany artists with their zany style are creating quite a bit of buzz much to the chagrin of the hoity-toity artsy intelligentsia. So much so that in 2011 they caught the eye of jurors Kirsten Swenson and Kenton Aemmerson who awarded them Best of Show at the 2011 Artrageous art extravaganza at the Cosmopolitan.

So just when you thought power trio Alexander Huerta, Alexander "Skye" Carranza and Eddie "Cicifu" Canumay couldn't get any wilder they have teamed up with some of the most well known artists in Las Vegas to bring together another show to wow the masses. The mixed media collaborations include Marty Walsh, Kitschy Chic, Libby Lemonade, Miguel Rodriguez, Joel Spencer, Carlos de Las Heras, Brent Holmes and Mark Mellon. With such a line up of artists you know this show is a must see this upcoming First Friday. I got a sneak peek at the collection and it had me smiling all weekend long. Heck I even picked up my first Three Baaad Sheep to hang at the Skypad (my place).

The opening preview for 3 Baaad Sheep and 8 Baaad Ass Artist 2012 will take place at PeaceNArt Studio Thursday, February, 2nd and First Friday, February 3rd 6pm. The show runs through the month.
