Rita Mae Brown to speak at the Clark County Library this Tuesday...
One of the early pioneers of the feminist movement of the 1960's, an accomplished author, screenwriter, Emmy Award nominee and of course Polo Player Rita Mae Brown will be in Las Vegas on Tuesday, September 21 to discuss her newest novel A Nose for Justice. The story takes place in Nevada and details a sinister plot that involves the diversion of water to Reno by a local corporation. Does this sound familiar? Ahem...
I do have to say that the Las Vegas-Clark County Library district never ceases to amaze with their great repertoire of speakers that they have invited over the last year. With speakers like Armistead Maupin, David Sedaris and Rita Mae Brown, to name a few the library really has brought this community a collection of tantalizing treats. Rita Mae, I am most certain will not disappoint and just being in the presence of such a wonderfully accomplished author should make for a most memorable evening.
