Benefit for Insurgo Theater Movement

December 29th, Insurgo and Born & Raised Productions present THE RED PARTY at the Downtown Cocktail Room, a fundraising event to benefit the Insurgo 2009-2010 Season.

The evening is an eastern euro propaganda chic theatre explosion and features performances from local artists including Insurgo and other local troupes and Strip shows. In addition it will feature performed portions of the upcoming season, silent auctions, and some special prizes.

This season is our most ambitious to date. We have a dozen mainstage and original shows in the next seven months featuring some of the greatest performers in the world, literally. Vegas has shown us that they want this kind of programming. This event is a chance for us to meet with the public in a fantastic setting,have them check out part of the season, get involved and join the movement. Its also a final opportunity to donate before the new tax year and help build a new theatre with the best performing arts group in Vegas.

The Insurgo Theater Movement is a 501c3 non-profit corporation and donations are tax-deductible. Hailed as "intimately related to the betterment for a quickly evolving Las Vegas theater status quo" and "wild west avante-garde theatre", the Insurgo Theater Movment is a non-profit organization dedicated to an exploration the theatrical form including classics, alternative and original works. Most recently, Insurgo was named Best of Vegas for 2009 from the Review Journal.
