AND NOW…FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT
You know her as the painter of the successful concentric and colorful ‘point of focus’ series and the sexy frosting-like rose paintings. Now watch as we hear ANGELA KALLUS maintain her diverse voice in this tableau of new drawings. Sock monkeys and other stuffed critters- presented in voyeuristic undertones and an overt narrative. You’ll see.

VS: A Collection by Theresa Lucero
Experience the adversarial world of angels and demons in VS: A Collection by Theresa Lucero. The paintings, created in acrylics on canvas, capture the imaginative and stylized imagery of these supernatural beings as they vie for your allegiance. With floral, astronomical, and ocean motifs, these images break from traditional depictions and blur the boundaries between good and evil. VS: A Collection by Theresa Lucero will hang in the Jenny Valdez Inc. Gallery for the entire month of February.

The Art of James Bousema
With his various influences spanning from comic books and mythology, to film and music, James always tries to take that which he loves and show it through his work. He tries to show the artistic value in what others could consider to be juvenile. More influenced by Batman than Botticelli, he’s an artist with the heart of a geek.

We are the Talky Trees: Free Arts & Entertainment Among Friends
What exactly is Talky Trees? It's a 7-hour Arts festival centered around two ideas:
1) Self-expression of the audience such that they and the performers are one and the same! YOU have the gift of art, and we encourage you to realize it.
2) Collaboration between mediums: painters coloring a piece to a poet who then gives his words to the music of others. The artist and the audience? Same people.
This is an art show all about collaboration of all possible mediums. Music, poetry, painting, performance art. What every you are into, bring whatever craft you love and share it with us
