Trifecta Gallery hosts Pancakes and Spandex?

All I know is that Las Vegas lighting extraordinaire Todd VonBastiaan and his awesome partner Bryan McCarthy are making pancakes. And apparently these pancakes are made of spandex or some other material that is not really edible. In either case they are having breakfast in bed this morning at Marty Walsh's Trifecta Gallery located inside the Arts Factory.

Since I am running late this A.M. I will be stopping by to see what all the batter is about!

HOTCAKES

Pancakes with fur? Spandex? Maybe. You never quite know with Todd Von Bastiaans, especially now that he has joined forces for this project with Bryan McCarthy. The duo spent the last year conceptualizing and producing "Todd and Bryan's Pancake Bed (and Breakfast)." The result is a sensory and magic experience with the ability to launch the viewer into his own interpretation of nostalgic breakfast memories. At Trifecta Gallery we have always been about sensory travel and these guys hit the mark. The individually priced fabricated over-sized pancakes are made from photo optimized recycled fabric, stuffed with what actually feels like real pancake! Some are edged with flashy, furry embellishments not normally associated with pancakes. Use them for yoga mats, floor pillows, a stack for a coffee table, foot rest or just wrap yourself up in it and pretend!

This THURSDAY MORNING from 7AM - 10AM join Todd, Bryan, Chef Beni and Trifecta staff for breakfast before you go to work! Plenty of coffee and the unique pleasure of starting your day with food as art and art as food! We do it all the time. Come and see what we mean!
