First Friday... December 2010...

I was out and about last night for Preview Thursday and I do have to say First Friday is going to be rocking tonight. Marty Walsh's minUMENTAL Show at Trifecta was amazing and what Brett Wesley pulled together at his gallery will blow your mind. In addition, Blackbird Studios show inspired by the Goonies will definitely bring back memories of one of the best movies from the 1980's.

I could go on with the sights and sounds of Downtown but you just have to get down here and see for yourself. Now that Downtown is the "talk-of-the-town" come down and experience yourself what all the fuss is about!

Here is the First Friday lineup from Cindy with lots of great information and plenty of links to what is happening throughout Downtown.

This month visual artists, Improv, street musicians, bands, fire performers, handcrafted items and and more art. Come out to support the arts community, enjoy the entertainment and find great holiday gifts.

Whirlygig Inc. operates the beer/wine and liquor booth, all proceeds will benefit the First Friday Las Vegas (FFLV) event. The beverage and food booths inside the barricaded area all support FFLV. We hope you will show your support as patrons of these vendors.

For the winter we have cotton candy, hot chocolate sno-cones, ice cream, the Slidin Thru truck and Island Breeze Hawaiian cuisine will be here as well. The vendors near the stage will be serving BBQ, hotdogs, tacos, desserts and drinks. All proceeds from the water and soda booth at Casino Center and Colorado benefit First Friday Las Vegas.

Buy a Best Friend of First Friday card and help support your favorite Las Vegas arts event for just $25 per year. (go to this link for benefits: http://www.firstfriday-lasvegas.org/foff.html )We also have special "I 'heart' First Friday" t-shirts available for just $7 (for 7 years) at the First Friday Las Vegas Information Table (located in front of The Funk House).
