An afternoon with Puccini...

Think Paris around Christmas in the mid-nineteenth century. Your poor, your cold, all you have are a few friends and maybe a little love. An appropriate though sad opera by one of the worlds greatest composers. This afternoon the Nevada Opera Theater will be performing Giacomo Puccini's "La Boheme" at the Artemis Ham Concert Hall. The performance begins at 2pm with a pre-performance lecture by Maestro Frank Fetta. The performance will be starring internationally acclaimed soprano and two-time Grammy nominee Demetra George with appearances by Gabriel Reoyo-Pazos, Suzanne Vinnik, Kelly Anderson, Eric Castro, Michael Elliot and Morton Hyson.

The Artemis Ham Concert Hall is located on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas 4505 S. Maryland Parkway. For tickets and information please call (702) 895-ARTS (2787). http://pac.unlv.edu/
