Another awesome Saturday in Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas...

With the weather finally beginning to feel like it should in June the evenings are damn near perfect for a social jaunt to the city core. Events taking place Downtown are Second Saturdays on Fremont East with art happenings at the Emergency Arts, the Beat Coffeehouse and of course the ever so popular Vegas SteEATs next to the Historic El Cortez.

Down in 18b, Las Vegas' ever expanding arts district, Painters and Poets on the Patio take over the Arts Factory to begin the evening with some spoken work and the creative side of some of Downtown's talented artists. The evening end at the Arts Factory with the sultry House sounds of the one and only Godfather of House himself Jesse Saunders.

Whether you are in the mood or not, why not cancel your plans of going to the Strip and come Downtown to the real "Center of the City" and party like the locals do. Besides the cocktails are cheaper! See you tonight and FYI NO EXCUSES!
