The Tropicana Hotel Implosion?

Did you know there was an implosion at the Tropicana Hotel this morning? Thanks to my good friend Joel Rosales founder of www.leavinglv.net we have this exclusive footage of the event. Though none of the large towers came down, it is obvious they were just cleaning up the area around them.

The Tropicana, once known as the "Tiffany' of the Strip in its heyday, has been going through extensive renovations over the last year. Visionary Tropicana CEO Alejandro "Alex" Yemenidjian has been spearheading the renovation and reinvention of the vulnerable Strip property. So far from what I have gathered of the renovations they are doing a wonderful job. Goodness knows the hotel was in desperate need of a little love. It is great to see Alex and his team taking pride and creating a new resort, while at the same time celebrating its past.
