First Friday... A Hot August Night!

Well here is the First Friday schedule of events thanks to our good friend Cindy Funkhouser. There is a lot happening this evening so make sure to come out and enjoy the festivities.

I would like to give a shout out to Gina Quaranto and all the artists of PLACE Gallery for your dedication to the arts especially during these difficult times. The explosion of July 11 may have shattered windows but it did not shatter your spirit. I would like to dedicate this First Friday post to PLACE Gallery...

A special thanks to Todd Vonbastiaan at Alios Gallery for supporting PLACE and the LVSK8 IV exhibition...

"We are happy to introduce you to Bear Flag Wine; a proud sponsor of First Friday Las Vegas. The wine was created by two young female winemakers, who exercised their freedom of expression and openly flouted the rules set down by tradition to create a series of unique wine blends that defy convention. They enlisted an artist, Eduardo Bertone to bring their point-of-view to life on the label. Also, a big thanks to Camarena Tequila, New Amsterdam Gin, Opulent Vodka, Ron Diaz Silver Rum and Philips Union Whiskey for supporting First Fridays. You can enjoy Bare Flag Wine and these spirits at the First Fridays Bar Booth, all proceeds benefit First Friday Las Vegas."

On Leslie's behalf, Gaia is supporting All Fur Love Animal Society by donating storefront window display space to the local nonprofit animal rescue. Throughout Leslie's show, AFLAS will promote its cause through the store.
