Mayor Oscar B. Goodman to Turn on the Holiday Lights

WHAT:
Mayor Oscar B. Goodman will bring holiday cheer to the Fremont Street Experience when he flips the switch to light Las Vegas’ official Christmas tree. The 50-foot tree will be garnished with festive decorations and is set to stand below the 12.5 million lights of the Viva Vision screen. Directly following the ceremony, the Candy & The Canes show will perform, a live song and dance show to holiday music hits.

WHEN:
Tuesday, December 8
5 p.m. – Tree Lighting Ceremony (live shots plan for 5:20 p.m. tree lighting)
5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. – Candy & The Canes performance

WHERE:
Fremont Street Experience
3rd Street Intersection (between the Fitzgeralds, Four Queens and Fremont casinos)

The official Las Vegas Christmas tree will be on display at the Fremont Street Experience through the Christmas holiday. Candy & The Canes is free and open to the public every night throughout the month of December at 7:30, 8:30 and 9:30 p.m.
