2012 is the Year of Downtown Las Vegas...

Downtown is the heart and soul of the city, its the historic center, it's the place that set the stage for everything that this community is today and it is without a doubt the place that will spearhead Las Vegas' economic transformation of tomorrow. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to say that Downtown Las Vegas is hot! With more and more creative individuals moving into the area, new and exciting announcements coming in everyday and now the celebration of 5 amazing projects ready to shine there are many reasons to celebrate.

This evening the the Symphony Park Lecture Series will be presenting "2012 The Year of Downtown". The event will celebrate The Smith Center, The Neon Museum, The MOB Museum, The New Children's Discovery Museum, the New Las Vegas City Hall and of course the online retailer Zappos move into the old city hall. The lecture and reception will take place TONIGHT at 5pm at the Historic 5th Street School at 401 4th Street across the street from the Lloyd D. George Federal Court House. The event is FREE and all are welcome!
