The Inaugural Las Vegas Science Festival begins TODAY...

The timing could not be more perfect. At a time when the legislature is mulling the possibility of cutting back public education the Las Vegas Science Festival is stepping up to the plate to demonstrate the importance of science education. With dozens of events planned, the week long festivities has something for everyone, from young and old and all in between.

Looking over the schedule of events tells me that the organizers of this awesome festival have really done their research! They have teamed up with some great organizations to celebrate the elegant beauty behind science and how it affects our everyday life. So make sure to check out to the festivities around town and celebrate Science!

No go out and get scientific!
