The Literati descend upon the Contemporary Arts Center... TONIGHT!

Under the leadership of Princess Anne Mulford and her team the Contemporary Arts Center (CAC) continues to push the gauntlet as the last surviving non-profit Contemporary art gallery in Las Vegas. With a good slate of thought provoking shows and events the CAC has become the beacon for many artists and patrons alike who study and enjoy new genres of art. Of course I am completely biased due to the fact that I sat on the board of the CAC for 8 years and I make no qualms that I am a major fan of the organization. The CAC has survived when other much better funded Contemporary art spaces have come and gone, ahem NICA (Nevada Institute for Contemporary Art), LVAM (Las Vegas Art Museum)... But I digress.

As a survivor, the CAC continues to amaze the masses with a slate of events that keep the organization fresh and make Las Vegas' art scene ever more interesting.

This evening the CAC will host Neon Lit a collection of poets, writers and special guests that will entertain and amaze with the written word. The doors will open at 6 pm so that everyone can enjoy the organizations latest exhibition It's a Blur with readings beginning at 7pm.
