As a Downtowner I have been watching from my living room window the Smith Center for the Performing Arts rise from what was once the site of Las Vegas' first major industry. The railroad yards that were first inhabited by the Salt Lake, San Pedro and Los Angeles Railroad and then later by the Union Pacific are now the newly reclaimed site of Las Vegas' most exciting project, Symphony Park. Key to that project is of course the performing arts center. This evening representative of the Smith Center will be giving a lecture about Las Vegas' Dream project.
The presented are as follows:
Mr. Donald D. Snyder, Chairman of the Smith CenterMr. Myron Martin, President & CEO;
Mr. Paul Beard, Vice President & COO
Mr. Rick Johnson, Vice President & CFO
Please join me tonight for this important lecture about the exciting Smith Center for the Performing Arts. The lecture is FREE and open to the public and will take place at the Historic 5th Street School located at 401 S. Fourth Street. Doors open at 5pm the program begins promptly at 5:30. For more information please call 702-229-6469
